ImageAssembler Templates - Adding Text to your photos |

ProImage now has templates for the ImageAssembler class! These make it easy for you to add one or more lines of text as top and/or bottom captions on your images.
The text can be static strings that you set in the templates:
or data from variables:
There are two different types of templates.
One is a BUTTON control template which adds text to the image when the user clicks the button.
The other is a CODE template that allows you to add text to an image automatically.
The text can be displayed dynamically without updating the source image or the updated image can be saved to a file or updated back to the database.
The templates also make it easy to have either transparent backgrounds (so that the text appears directly on the image), or a solid color background behind the text for easier reading.
