The ProImage Load From TIFF feature allows you to open a external TIFF file and page through it with a built-in a TIFF viewer. Then you can select any page from the TIFF and have it loaded into the ProImage editor. This opens up new possibilities for ProImage since previous versions could only load the first page of a TIFF.
●Load From FAX ( with optional "Repair" )
The ProImage Load from FAX feature allows you to open a external FAX TIFF file and page through it with a built-in a TIFF viewer. Then you can select any page from the FAX TIFF and have it loaded into the ProImage editor. The Load from FAX feature also has a "Repair" feature that will let you correct for FAX pages that were sent with a lower vertical resolution. This eliminates the "squashed" effect of such documents.
●Advanced Full Page Preview ( for developers who also use Clarion ProScan )
The ProImage Advanced Full Page Previewer is a feature designed for developers who own both ProImage 3.0 and ProScan 3.0. Similar to the native Full Page Previewer of ProImage, it allows you to send an ImageEx bitmap or an external file into the previewer for full page viewing. However this new advanced version will detect multipage TIFF files and allow you to turn the pages of the TIFF while in the viewer. You can also access the new ProScan 3.0 Advanced Print and Export to PDF control dialogs to be able to print or create a PDF with some or all of the TIFF in the viewer.
●Fine Control Over ProSeries Utilities
The ProImage templates now have conditional generation of the class declarations for the Path and Registry classes on every extension, control and code template. This allows the developer total control to mix and match templates without worries about duplicate errors.
●Updated Installer
ProImage has a new installer that supports:
●Clarion 5.5
●Clarion 6.x
●Clarion 7.x
●Clarion 8.x
This is a smart installer that allows you to install ProScan for multiple versions of Clarion without overwriting entries in the Add/Remove programs. You can also uninstall one version without removing the other. The new installer will also remember the location where you install the example files for each version of Clarion and make that the default location when you install updates.
