ProImage Version 1.6 was released on 1-26-2007
•ProImage 1.6 is now compatible with ProScan 1.5 (it is NOT compatible with older versions of ProScan).
•Added Data Bridge to ProScan
•Added an option box to the ProImage Call Button template that creates a data bridge to ProScan. A corresponding option box needs to be checked on the ProScan Control Panel Template to complete the bridge.
•264 Free High Quality Icons from www.icons-icons.com ( click here for details on www.icons-icons.com )
•ProImage now includes 264 high quality icons from the "Lights", "Brights" and "Roma" icons sets from www.icons-icons.com. These icons let you see what a difference it can make to use professional icons in your applications. Just pick the color and style you like - then you can buy the rest of the matching icon set to dress the rest of your application for very low prices. These icons can set you apart from your competition and help give your applications the competitive advantage you need in today's marketplace.
•Added User resize system with "Quick Grab" for the Visual Targeting System
•Added markers and grab handles to Visual Targeting System. When either the Wireframe or the lens targeting system is enabled, the user is presented with a series of grab handles on the corner and sides. As the mouse nears any handle a yellow circle appears around it. The user can click at any time then and the mouse will grab the center of the handle. The handle turns red to show that it was grabbed. Then the user can drag the mouse to resize the target on that axis.
•Added Freehand Crop mode. The Freehand crop mode allows the user to draw out an area that they want to use from the source image. After the area is draw out - the user can resize/reposition the area with the grab handles
•Added TrueView Image Protection
•When a user crops a area from a photo or resizes the Visual Target System, the system automatically resamples the image and resizes the output to prevent distortion of the image at all times. The output size is never allowed to exceed the target sizes (on thumbnails, screen images or print images) and the aspect ratio of the output image is automatically adjusted as needed.
•Added Smart Image Clipboard. When a user presses CTRL+C to copy the current selection to the Windows clipboard, ProImage will analyze the selection to determine if the "real image" area is larger than the on screen representation of it. If it is, then a popup window allows the user to copy either the on screen representation of the image - or the actual selection from the real image to the clipboard. This makes it easy to use the copy selection feature to copy small representations to paste into emails as well as full size representations to paste into other programs.
•Added new option for editor startup mode called MENU. This mode will prompt the user with a popup menu to see if they want to edit the current image (in which case it is sent to the editor) or insert a new image in its place.
•Added new option for editor startup mode called MULTI. In this mode, the editor is called to edit multiple photos. No filename is sent to the editor, none is returned. Note: When the user loads a new file, the SaveFileAs name and IVG:Basefilename are updated automatically with the name of the loaded file.
•Added new Auto Update Filename option Added option to Call button template so that when the user loads a new file, the SaveFileAs name and IVG:Basefilename are updated automatically with the name of the loaded file.
•Visual Indicator Bug Fix. Fixed bug where visual indicator could be pushed off the right of the viewer by one pixel
•Updated Advanced Save Procedure. The Advanced Save procedure was updated so that when the preview image is loaded a ZoomToFit is issued. The viewer control was also enabled for the Mousewheel Zoom and the Scrollbars turned on.
•Added Select All. Added a hotkey for CTRL+A that will select ALL of the image (visible or not). The image is displayed and then selected in its entirety.
•Added new PS_Fastfile class to PS_Utils.tpw - allows a file to be saved or read in one pass using Windows API calls.
