The Advanced tab is where you can set advanced options of the ImageAssembler class.

Set Base Layer Dimensions

By default, ProImage will create the new image with the text added in the same size as the source image or bitmap.

However you can specify fixed dimensions and the resulting image will be created in that size.

This can be a very powerful option as it allows you to make your target images all be the same size.

Just keep in mind the advice that we give you in the sections on Image Size Planning and Planning Aspect Ratios.

Base Layer Width and Height - these fields are available when you are using fixed dimensions.

Background Color - by default this is white and there is no need to change it.  Later on we may expand the templates to support offset layers (which you can do in hand code).  Then the background color would be important.  For now it is just a value that is needed by the class and the default color is fine since the source image is drawn completely over the base layer.

Base Layer DPI - The ImageAssembler class has the ability to create print quality images.  When a value greater than 100 is entered in this field, then a multiplier kicks in in the class code and everything is scaled upwards by a percentage so that the final image is large enough to deliver the desired DPI to the printer.  Normally you will not need to change this (and again it is just a value that is needed by the class.
