The classes include an integrated XML viewer that make it easy to see exactly what request is being sent to the API and exactly what comes back in a nicely formatted and indented view instead of one long stream of characters.

While the communications layer is written in C# in order to deliver a connection that is both fast and robust, the source code for it is available and cleanly documented in the code.  You should never have to recompile it, but having the source gives you peace of mind.

Plus for those interested it shows clearly how to interface a Clarion application with C# .NET code and not run into problems with memory management. It uses standard CSTRING and other parameters so the DLL code works fine with older versions of Clarion and it has been tested all the way back to C5.5.
